Please understand, we fabulous Sisters are not just here for the giggles, though those are essential! We are called to serve our community with a fierce, unapologetic radicality that will leave them breathless!
As the iconic Sister Marymea Himm so eloquently declared, "The iconography of the nun is truly powerful! It whispers safety without a single word. And for us queer beings, it was vital to take something that wounded and scarred us and, with a divine twist, transform it into something empowering!" Yes! As a Queer Nun, my sacred mission is to serve this community by not only forging an unshakeable sense of safety for all but also by building towering fortresses of empowerment and showering the world with incandescent joy! We are not your average sisters, darlings. We are a revolution in heels!

Sugar, let me tell you a little something about this blossoming bloom! As a precious undergraduate navigating the treacherous terrain of coming out, the universe decided to throw a whole heap of shade! Job? Gone! Chosen family? Blindsided! Biological family? Some still haven't RSVP'd to the party! It was a dark, desolate moment, leading this radiant soul to the precipice. But thank heavens for the fierce love at university and some ride-or-die besties, because Sister Delilah didn't just survive, she thrived!
And what illuminated her path through that stormy night? None other than the divine Sister Unity and her YouTube channel! Can you even? Inspiration, shimmering hope, and pure, unadulterated JOY were served in heaping doses, battling those inner demons one fabulous video at a time! A seed was planted then, a fierce desire to pay that light forward.
Years were spent searching for the perfect stage to unleash this radiant service. But wouldn't you know it, the answer, the calling, was right there, shimmering all along! So, post-graduation, this visionary queen sashayed her way to the glorious Great State of Texas and, landed smack-dab in the Abbey of the Lone Star! Now, as a Sister, Delilah is a living testament to the power of kindness and unwavering support, the very gifts that lifted ,her! And the best part, my dears? she is having an absolute ball doing it!
